Every time our country faces an atrocity like the killings in Newtown, people get angry and demand change. But change never arrives, and people keep dying—gunned down in schools and malls and temples all across America.

So this time, we're going to do something a little different. We are Republicans and Democrats, gun enthusiasts and anti-gun activists, families and teachers. Together, today, we are making a solemn promise not to go away. We are going to keep fighting until this problem is solved once and for all.

When you make the promise to take action against gun violence, we'll send you regular updates with tools and resources for you to take action to reduce gun violence in your community. We'll also let you know how to start/join a Community Committee Against Gun Violence in your area. You can read our privacy policy here.

This is not a petition.
This is a promise.

Success! Thank you for making the commitment to take action against gun violence. We'll be in touch. Please ask your friends to help out as well:
